A beginners guide to coding with HTML
The goal in coding
The goal in learning how to code is to help us be in control of our websites and to help us customize them however we want. If there is something wrong or un right in your website than you can simply adjust it or switch using coding. The two basic types of coding methods are html and css which we will get to later.

Introduction to HTML
HTML is used to establish a pages structure and also lets us add texts, images, and links to websites. HTML elements are the building blocks of the HTML coding and of most websites. There are five common elements in coding and these help to do many different sorts of things. These include to add text, add images, put a link on the website, and adjust paragraphs. Here are the 5 common elements:
<h>
This is an element used to add heading elements which basically means to add headings anywhere you would need them. The way this is added is by typing <h> in the coding box and then placing what you wanted to put as your heading. After that you would keep a </h> symbol in the coding box to end the heading element. An example is shown below:

This is an example of a heading made by code
The way i did this was by typing "<h> This is an example of a heading made by code </h>" in the code box and then pushing enter. The computer recognizes the code and makes it into a heading.
<p>
Not only do you need a heading but you most probably need a paragraph to go under the heading and so you can use <p> to make this paragraph. The instructions for this are similar to make a heading using <h>. First you would keep <p> to start the paragraph and then you would keep what ever you would want to keep as your paragraph after <p> when your done with your paragraph you would place a </p> to tell the computer you are done with your paragraph. An example is show below:

<a>
This HTML element is used to hyperlink a website into your website so that they could go from your website to another. This is a little bit more complicated then using <h> and <p> but it is very useful. What you would do first is you would place a "<a href=" and then you would place the name of your website in quotation marks. Then at the end of the url of the website you would place a ><a/> to show that you are done with your hyperlink. An example of this is below:

What i put in the coding box was "<a href= www.google.com> Google<a/>" and this created the hyperlink that if you were to push would allow you to go straight to the google page.
<img>
This element lets you add a picture to your website for your viewers to look at. The coding for this is very basic and so this is pretty simple to learn. First keep a"<img src=" and then place the image link after that. To end the <img> simple place a > to complete the image. An example of this is shown below:

<ul> and <il>
These two are used to create a bulleted list of things that your website viewer can see. The <ul> is used to create the list its self and the <il> element is used to create the different bullets. The way to start the bulleted list to first place <ul> and then push enter. To make the actual bullets you would place <il> and then the word that you are bulleting and then you would place a </il> to finish the bullet. You can keep as many bullets as needed using this element of coding. To end the bulleted list you would push enter after the last bullet and then place a </ul> to show that the code is done. An example of this is shown below:

<li>bullet #1</li>

<li>bullet #1</li>
<li>bullet #2</li>

Putting all of the elements together
All of these elements are useful alone but together they can be used to create a website or tweak and adjust some thing on a current website. Here is an example of sort of a"mini-website" that can be made into a real website:
