What would happen if the to the energy graphs if the mass was 1KG instead of 0.5 KG
If the mass was 1 kilogram instead of 0.5 kilograms then the energy would be changing differently at different times than if the mass was 0.5 kilograms. If the mass was heavier than there would be more kinetic energy in the mass due to more weight exerted on the mass creating more speed and motion. So instead of the kinetic energy graph being like a M shape, it would be like a very tall stretched out M to represent more kinetic energy being reached in a smaller amount of time. This also happens to the potential energy graph but in a different way. Since the kinetic energy is increasing than the potential energy must be decreasing and so the graph would show a higher decrease in less amount of time. So originally the graph for potential energy would show as a U shape or a parabola which seems to look very wide, but the new graph would still look like a U or parabola but just not as wide.
